Whew! I’m getting caught up on this at last!
Started the morning with lemon water and later some orange/green apple/apricot juice. Yum! Then it was breakfast. Today I had 1/2 a banana and avocado on something, I truly can’t remember what! Had a kiwi as well for breakfast. Made some cilantro pesto yesterday and some broccoli/zucchini humuus today to try at lunch. Had the pesto with tomatoes and a small piece of oatburger wrapped in a romaine lettuce leaf and it was very good. The humuus turned out to be much better than I expected and I had that with some corn-based chips. That was good too. I think I’ll try it as a dip with celery or carrots and see how that is.Also had a spoonful of left-over slaw from yesterday. Oh and a very small piece of vegetable/chicken potpie.
4:30 p.m. – feeling pretty good, but my stomach tells me I probably had a little too much variety at lunch 🙂
